Welcome

Performing Arts for Youth Society is pleased to present our 2009-2010 exciting season of educational and entertaining shows at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center, adjacent to San Mateo High School. (see map for location)

We hope that you and your students enjoy the rich diversity of these performances, and we encourage you to reserve your tickets well in advance of the scheduled shows.

Your feedback is needed, so that PAYS can continue to provide you and your students with a smooth running and satisfying experience. We would greatly appreciate your filling out a short form for this purpose.

Teachers and kids love PAYS!

"I thought the play, Most Valuable Player, was a great play. It showed a lot of courage of a black man, Jackie Robinson , who did his best even though it was hard"

"As a second grade teacher, I found MVP a wonderful contribution to our lifeskills programs.' "If it weren't for PAYS, our children would never have the opportunity to see a live play."

"Gizmo guys helped us learn more about balance and spaces." I loved all the dancing in PETER PAN. They were great!"

TRANSPORTATION POLICY: For the 2009-10 PAYS performances, the fee for all buses will be $275.  Bill Hicks, our Transportation Coordinator will make all the arrangements for all buses and bill each school. Payment for the buses will be sent to PAYS. We will reimburse each bus district for a particular performance.  Payment for the buses MUST be received at the PAYS office within 30 days after the performance. Bill can be reached at (650) 222-8514 for your questions and concerns.  Bill will coordinate the times for each school to attend the performances along with the PAYS office.  REMINDER:  buses will be available on a first come first served basis.

If you, or someone you know, are interested in volunteering, please contact us to learn about how you can help bring this wonderful program to life year after year.
